My beloved bookshelf

One Christmas, my husband couldn't decide what to get me. He was torn between a fancy new blu ray player with all the bells and whistles, or a new bookshelf. "Bookshelf!" I responded immediately, excitedly, and we made our way over to IKEA to make my dreams come true.

Sure, in my dreams, my bookshelves are a lot bigger and there are ladders that slide across the wall -- I keep a few samples on my book board at Pinterest -- but for now, I'm content with these shelves.

I got a Kobo Mini and now have a tablet, so my ebook collection is fairly vast, but I still adore real books and continue to buy them. As much as I love my ereaders and their convenience, they just don't look as lovely on my shelves as a real book does.
